how about???

Hi,

I have been sleeping for 4 days without my dummy now. Tonight is #5. I even managed a sleep at daycare on Monday without my dummy!

Sabrina at daycare told Mummy that I have an amazing vocabulary! She has switched rooms from the older kids' room and hasn't spent much time with me until now.

I have started to say "How about...."

Mummy asked me if I wanted a drink of water today and I said "How about DIS water?" and pointed to her Fanta. Mummy said "I don't think so! How about water?" and I said "How about Milky?!"

She laughed at me, she does that alot.

I am going to be a big sister soon. Here is me cuddling my baby sister, who is still "inside".




So what does this all mean? Surely, life won't change that much?? Nahhhh.. no way!

BYE BYE DUMMY

Savanna, you lost your dummy in the lounge room tonight. You only use it for sleep time anyway, however I wanted to try and get rid of it before your new sister arrives.

So, after we both had a quick search of the lounge (on purpose so hopefully you will remember that we "lost" it) I said we couldn't find it and we trotted off upstairs for books and bed.

You went to sleep without complaining or asking for it!!!!

Savanna, you are really filling in those gaps between words now. Instead of Oh Daddy gone? It's "where's Daddy gone?" "Put dummy .. *ramble*" Has become a clear and concise "put da dummy in my bed"


Right now You are playing with Bert and you have all your plastic cups out and are having a tea party. The horseys, Minnie Mouse and Fifi are also joining you.

**milestone alert** you just picked up a triangle and said "Ti - Agool" !!!!!!! First time that's happened.

a swinging good time

Yesterday was a public holiday so Daddy was only at work for a teeny tiny little bit. When he came home, he and Mummy took me to the park. I had a great time.



Tonight I had spaghetti bolognaise for dinner. Yummo. This is a picture of me tonight. I have thought of the best thing to do - ever. I jump from the lounge onto the floor. I take a huge leaping bound off the couch and BANG land on the floor. Then I laugh lots and do it all over again. What a great game that is.
